Front Leg Raises
Front Leg Raises is a stretching exercise using body only that trains the hamstrings.
StretchingBody OnlyBeginnerPull
Primary muscles: Hamstrings
How to do it
- Stand next to a chair or other support, holding on with one hand.
- Swing your leg forward, keeping the leg straight. Continue with a downward swing, bringing the leg as far back as your flexibility allows. Repeat 5-10 times, and then switch legs.
Track it with MyoAmigo
MyoAmigo pre-fills every set of the Front Leg Raises from last time, charts your estimated 1RM trend so you can see strength move without testing a true max, and flags a stall with a concrete fix. It also credits this work toward your weekly Hamstrings volume on the MyoMap heatmap. New to the movement? Start with picking a working weight and progressive overload.
