Say it, scan it, or tap it again.
Most of what you eat this week, you ate last week too. Macros is built so the second time takes a tap, not a search.
- Describe a meal. Type "two eggs, toast, and a flat white" and it's split into real foods with real portions. You can edit each item.
- Log again. Find a past meal and make it today's.
- Search as you type. The USDA catalog is stored on your phone, so results appear as you type.
- Scan barcodes and labels. Photograph a Nutrition Facts panel once, and the next scan finds that food right away.
- It remembers your portions. Your usual scoop, slice, or bowl is filled in for you.
- Copy, move, undo. Copy yesterday's breakfast or move a snack to dinner, and Undo if you change your mind.
Two eggs, a slice of whole-wheat toast, and a flat white.
Breakfast logged: 2 large eggs, 1 slice whole-wheat toast, flat white, whole milk. About 335 kcal and 23 g protein.
Milk amount estimated. You can change it.
Every number has a source.
Calories and macros are only the start. Macros tracks fiber, sodium, and dozens of vitamins and minerals from USDA FoodData Central.
- Labeled sources. Each food shows where its nutrition came from. Estimates are labeled as estimates.
- Gaps aren't counted as zero. When a food doesn't list a nutrient, Macros tells you.
- History stays put. Each log keeps the nutrition it had when you logged it, so last month's totals don't change when the database updates.
Targets that make sense.
