How to do it

  1. Step into a pendulum squat machine with your back against the pad and shoulders under the pads, feet roughly shoulder-width on the platform.
  2. Release the safety and squat down as the platform swings, letting your knees travel forward over the toes.
  3. Go as deep as you can control while keeping your back on the pad.
  4. Drive through the whole foot to return to the top, then lock the safety again when finished.
