Air Bike (machine) is a cardio exercise using machine that trains the quadriceps.
CardioMachineBeginner
Primary muscles: Quadriceps
Secondary muscles: Calves, Glutes, Hamstrings, Shoulders
How to do it
- Sit upright on the fan bike and set your feet on the pedals and hands on the moving handles.
- Drive through your legs while pushing and pulling the handles so arms and legs work together.
- Increase cadence to raise resistance — the harder you push, the more the fan resists.
- Hold a steady effort for intervals or distance, keeping your torso braced and breathing controlled.
Track it with MyoAmigo
MyoAmigo pre-fills every set of the Air Bike (machine) from last time, charts your estimated 1RM trend so you can see strength move without testing a true max, and flags a stall with a concrete fix. It also credits this work toward your weekly Quadriceps volume on the MyoMap heatmap. New to the movement? Start with picking a working weight and progressive overload.
