Secondary muscles: Abdominals, Hamstrings

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with your knees bent, feet flat and hip-width apart, and arms at your sides.
  2. Drive through your heels to lift your hips until your body forms a straight line from shoulders to knees.
  3. Holding your hips level, lift one foot a few inches and bring that knee toward your chest, then set it down.
  4. Alternate legs without letting your hips drop or twist, then lower your hips to finish.
