Hanging Leg Raise
Hanging Leg Raise is a isolation strength exercise using body only that trains the abdominals.
StrengthBody OnlyExpertIsolationPull
Primary muscles: Abdominals
How to do it
- Hang from a pull-up bar with both arms extended overhead, using either a wide or medium grip. Let your legs hang straight down and tuck your pelvis slightly backward. This will be your starting position.
- Raise your legs until they form about a 90-degree angle with your torso. Exhale as you perform this movement and hold the contraction for about a second.
- Lower your legs slowly back to the starting position as you inhale.
- Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.
