Can Meta Muse use your workout history?

The MyoAmigo connector for consumer Meta Muse has been submitted and is awaiting Meta's approval. We will publish the consumer setup instructions here when it is approved and available. In the meantime, Muse Code, Meta's separate terminal agent, has a documented MCP setup path below.

Consumer Muse: submitted, awaiting approval

Our consumer connector submission is pending Meta review. Submission does not mean the connector is approved or publicly available, and we do not have an approval date to announce. See the consumer Muse connector status for updates. The instructions below apply to Muse Code.

Connect Muse Code to MyoAmigo

  1. Prepare your training record. Record workouts in MyoAmigo, sign in to a MyoAmigo account, and sync the history you want to discuss. Muse Code cannot query workouts that exist only on your iPhone.
  2. Install and sign in to Muse Code following Meta's getting-started guide. Muse Code's account or API billing is separate from MyoAmigo.
  3. Add the MyoAmigo server in the mcp_servers section of Muse Code's ~/.config/muse/settings.json. Meta documents streamable_http as the remote transport:
{
  "mcp_servers": {
    "myoamigo": {
      "transport": "streamable_http",
      "url": "https://api.myoamigo.com/mcp",
      "enabled": true,
      "mode": "optional"
    }
  }
}

Merge that block into an existing settings file rather than replacing your other settings. Then run muse mcp login myoamigo and complete the MyoAmigo OAuth sign-in. In Muse Code, use /mcp to check the connection and available tools. These steps follow Meta's MCP and OAuth guide and settings-file guide; they have not been validated here with a live Muse Code session.

Ask about a real training question

Once the connection shows as available, try: “Use MyoAmigo to read my last six squat sessions. Separate working sets from warm-ups, compare load and reps, and tell me what the data supports for my next session.” Ask Muse Code to show the sessions behind its answer and to say when there is too little history. It only receives the data returned when it calls an authorized MyoAmigo tool.

Free reads, Pro actions, separate provider terms

MyoAmigo's raw workout-history, PR, stall, and strength-standard MCP reads are Free. Synthesized week reviews and full session assessments require MyoAmigo Pro. Pro also enables training-data writes such as logging a set or creating routines and plans, if Muse Code allows the tool action. Your Meta access and billing remain separate from MyoAmigo's Free and Pro plans.

Apple Health categories are separate: they require an opt-in in MyoAmigo's Data Sync Center and Apple permission before a server copy can be queried. Meta handles data returned to Muse Code under its own terms. See the MyoAmigo privacy policy. MyoAmigo is not a formal Meta partner.

Frequently asked questions

Is the MyoAmigo connector available in consumer Muse?

The MyoAmigo consumer Muse connector has been submitted and is awaiting Meta approval. We will publish setup instructions when it is approved and available. Muse Code has a separate documented MCP setup path.

Does Muse Code need my workouts in the cloud?

Yes. MyoAmigo's remote MCP server can return records from your signed-in, synced account. It cannot read workouts stored only on your phone.

Can Muse Code create a routine in MyoAmigo?

MyoAmigo exposes routine and plan write tools with Pro. The Muse Code connection and its action permissions must permit the tool call. Review the proposed routine before saving it.

If you prefer a chat setup with documented custom connectors, see Claude or Grok. ChatGPT has plan-dependent custom MCP access. The MyoAmigo MCP reference lists the tools.
