Primary muscles: Abdominals
Secondary muscles: Lower Back
How to do it
- Sit upright in the rotary torso machine and secure your legs and torso against the pads so your hips stay fixed.
- Set a weight you can control through a comfortable range and grip the handles.
- Rotate your trunk to one side by contracting your obliques, keeping the movement smooth and controlled.
- Pause briefly at the end of the rotation, then return to center under control.
- Complete the prescribed reps to one side, then reset the machine and repeat to the other side.
